Pitlochry is a popular Tourist destination and it often attracts a large number of hillwalkers as it is surrounded by mountains. It is a relatively small town with a population of under 3,000 but its good transport links and spectacular setting mean it is constantly busy. There are also two whisky distilleries here and one of them, Edradour is billed as the smallest in Scotland!
