St Andrews is perhaps best known as the "Home of Golf" and indeed it has over 7 golf courses in total, including the oldest golf course in the world, aptly named the Old Course. St Andrews has Scotland's oldest university, founded in 1410 and still regarded as one of Scotland's and indeed Britain's top Universities, one of its most recent students being Prince William. If you aren't interested in golf then you may want to visit St Andrews Cathedral or St Andrews Castle.
