Stranraer Hotels

Stranraer lies on the shores of Loch Ryan in the south west of Scotland, its name comes from the Scots Gaelic word "An t-Sròn Reamhar" which means "The Fat Nose". It is best know as being a ferry port which connects Scotland with Northern Ireland. Things of interest here are Stranraer Castle which lies in the centre of the town and Ardwell Gardens, which along with a wide selection of flowers also boasts stunning views of Luce Bay.
